The 3 days Uganda Budget Gorilla Safari goes to the eastern part of Bwindi for the gorilla tracking experience.
Day 1-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Ruhija Section
As you start up on your 3 Days Uganda Budget Gorilla Safari, You either meet your guide at the airport if you are arriving in the morning or had a night in Entebbe. He will brief you and off you leave for Bwindi impenetrable National Park. The drive is a long one about 9-10 hours but with breaks and interesting things to see along the way: the equator, drum makers, plantations, different towns- a great introduction to Uganda. Arrive in the evening at the lodge and have a night.

Day 2- Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
It’s a gorilla tracking day in Bwindi forest. Have breakfast and head to the Nkuringo sector offices for gorilla trekking. The trek can be 2-8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family that day and it starts after a briefing by the park ranger. Once you find it, you’ll be allowed an hour to stay, watch, photograph and learn about the gorillas before you return. The balance of the day you can visit the community or a group of the Batwa (pygmies) who were the inhabitants of the forest before the gorilla conservation project. Learn about their way of life and later back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3-Back to Entebbe or Kampala
The adventure is done, we leave the misty forest behind and head back to Entebbe or Kampala for your exit flight or your extension.
