Day 1: Arrive in Kinshasa, flight to Bukavu to start off your 3 Days Congo Lowland Gorilla trekking Safari
The guests will arrive in Kinshasa at N’jibli International Airport. Meet the tourist guides from our team who will brief you about the exciting gorilla safari you have yet to experience. You will then undertake an onward flight to Bukavu town near Kahuzi Biega National Park. In the town, you will transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax in your units.
The smart team of waiters and waitresses will serve you a delicious lunch a few minutes after you’ve arrived. Enjoy the lunch as you stare at the breathtaking views of the Kahuzi Biega National Park forest canopies and diverse landscapes. Continue relaxing in the premises for the entire afternoon as you marvel at the mesmerizing landscapes and the bustling city. Have dinner at eventide and you will have an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trek.
At sunrise, guests will have a delicious breakfast served to them by the catering team at the lodging facility. Enjoy a delicious meal in the golden hour as you stare at the intact tropical rainforest. Undertake the transfer to Kahuzi Biega National Park which will take you about a 40 to 50 minutes drive.
On arrival at the park, you will meet the Ranger guides who will brief you about the gorilla trekking activity which is the main key of this 3 Days Congo Lowland Gorilla trekking Safari. The guides will then accompany you to the jungle to enable you to meet the eastern lowland gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek will take you through the thick moist Evergreen habitat, Streams will be crossed and Highlands will be hiked on your way to meet the gentle giants.
The trek will keep you occupied until the afternoon when you will transfer to the lodge to get served a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax at the lodge as you enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush tropical rainforest and the diverse landscapes.

Day 3: Additional gorilla encounter, transfer to Bukavu.
Breakfast will be served at the crack of dawn to the guests at the lodging facility. The guests will then have an additional gorilla experience in the National Park. This will also be conducted under the guidance of the Ranger guides.
Visitors will continue trekking in the National Park and encounter other families of the eastern lowland gorillas. Guests will therefore spend yet another day observing the fascinating gentle giants enjoy their lives in the intact habitat.
Explore more of the park’s beauty and after undertake the transfer to Bukavu in the late afternoon. The drive will take you approximately 56 minutes. On arrival in Bukavu, you will have lunch and catch the flights back to Kinshasa for onward flights back home.
